Knitting 201: Resolution Collar Mon., Mar. 26, April 2 and 9, 6-8 pm Making a stylish neck warmer, we'll study cast ons, cables, short rows, increases and decreases, fixing mistakes and finishing.We'll spend three weeks on this small project because we'll work to understand everything we do. Students should be competent at knit and purl, with a few complete projects to their names, and be ready to be "the boss of their knitting," in the words of knitting legend Elizabeth Zimmerman.

April 16, 23 and 30, 6-8 pm In this three-session class, you will knit a classic sock beginning at the cuff and ending at the toe. You will learn several new skills -- knitting on doublepointed needles, slipping stitches, picking up stitches, making short rows, making symmetrical decreases, and grafting. Every knitter should be able to knit a sock. Students should be strong advanced beginners or intermediate knitters. Instructor: Cindy Cost: $50
