First Lace Two for One
Tues., March 20 and 27, 6-8 pm

Spring will be coming by late March, and we'll want to think about light and airy knitting. Never worked lace?  Here's a chance to begin -- with one easy motif and an easy border, you can make a scarf or a cowl to suit your fancy. It's two for one because you'll learn about both projects!

Knitting 201: Resolution Collar
Mon., Mar. 26, April 2 and 9, 6-8 pm
Making a stylish neck warmer, we'll study cast ons, cables, short rows, increases and decreases, fixing mistakes and finishing. We'll spend three weeks on this small project because we'll work to understand everything we do. Students should be competent at knit and purl, with a few complete projects to their names, and be ready to be "the boss of their knitting," in the words of knitting legend Elizabeth Zimmerman.
